The 9:30 Nighclub originally opened up in 1978 with a capacity of 1,200 people. The venue was renovated in 1996 and something that makes the venue unique is the stage can be wheeled back and forth in order to accommodate the crowd that is in attendance. The 9:30 Nightclub has had many notable experiences some of which include Bob Dylan, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Smashing Pumpkins.
