The Black Cat Nightclub was founded in 1993 by Dante Ferrando, the former drummer for the band Grey Matter. Although the venue is known for organizing independent performers that play indie rock music the venue has housed all different genres. The capacity of the venue is 900 people included all stages. There is a restaurant inside as well as a bar lounging area.
