The Warner Theatre was built in 1924. The theatre got its name from Harry Warner who was the owner at the time and is one of the Warner Brothers siblings. In 1989 the Warner Theatre was closed down for renovations for three years until it reopened in 1992. The venue is the home of some of the best performance art in the area as well as nation television presentations. Upcoming events this year include Bruce Bruce & Rickey Smiley as well as Ms. Lauryn Hill.
