Bassline Business represents the change we wish to see in the music industry, influenced by both inspiration and disappointment from the status quo in our area we strive to shift perspectives and push forward the sounds we believe in.
In one short year of operation we have made a name for ourselves locally in all ranges of Dubstep and 140 BPM bass music, hosting 18 events while introducing new sounds and debuting over 20 international artists to our area.

Born in Tel Aviv and living in Austin, TX, The Widdler has been playing and producing music since he was 10. Renowned in the American dubstep scene since his inception, the Widdler releases such as Sensei Samurai , Froggy Style, and Lady Dub are regarded as classics in the bass genre. Supported by artists like Bassnectar, Mary Anne Hobbes, Excision, and 6Blocc, member of US imprints Dank ‘N’ Dirty Dubz, and MalLabel Music, represented by the Sub.mission Agency, and most recently signed to Owsla Records, The Widdler is widely recognized as an innovator and originator of dub sound. Constantly practicing, The Widdler incorporates mix sessions into his daily routine, which translates to his flawless performances at shows; headlining with the likes of Doctor P, Reso, Ajappai, and Tipper throughout the world. Currently spending his time between gigs in the studio, The Widdler is working hard to bring the freshest tunes to his fans, with his newest releases to drop in 2015. Taking influence from various genres of music and lifestyle, his tunes comes in all shapes and colors. From the chilled reggae dubs and blue mood atmospheres to the mean menacing throbs of bass and percussion, The Widdler knows how to weave his musical roots with his production that makes each set entirely special. Birmingham born now Bristol-based Sorrow is an artist of whom many UK garage music lovers may have heard. His debut musical adventure was revealed in 2011, when he announced the release of his first E.P on L2S Recordings and has since released his well-received debut album ‘Dreamstone’ with Monotreme Records to the eager public. Whatever the genre, Sorrow champions his versatility to adapt to the ever evolving electronic music scene, never refusing to elaborate on his already recognizable production style and breaking down the boundaries of genre pigeonholing.
BogTroTTeR (Shanti Planti/Addictech Records, CO)

The Minneapolis native BogTroTTeR has set roots in Denver and has been melting crowds throughout United States, Australia, and Canada since 2009. Through complex percussions and growling rhythms, BogTroTTeR’s diverse collage of original compositions challenges the scope of modern day psychedelic bass music. His sound pushes the limits through his own unique mixture of glitch-hop, breakbeats, and psy-bass with a dark, swampy twist. Murky bass lines and terrestrial synthesizers are just a few things contributing to the lustrous sound field amalgamated by BogTroTTeR.
