As one of dubstep’s original pioneers and its most recognizable selector, London-based Youngsta is a name synonymous with UK music. His 10+ year career in dubstep traces the history of the genre, developing long-lasting relationships with RinseFM and Tempa Recordings which highlight his innate ability as a seminal curator.
Youngsta was one of the first DJs to play dubstep on Rinse FM alongside Hatcha and Kode9 in the early part of last decade. As he’s borne witness to every mutation of the sound, his shows feature new music from developing producers while premiering tunes from established artists like J:Kenzo, Icicle and Proxima.
With a presence that spans the globe, Youngsta has toured extensively in Europe, North America and Australia. His legendary Contact night continues to grow, introducing a unique mix of artists from across the bass music spectrum. In addition to his A&R position at Tempa, Youngsta launched his new Sentry label with recent releases from DBridge and Nomine.
In addition to an upcoming 12-inch single w/ Merkee Ledge released on Artikal Music in June, he’s putting the finishing touches on a massive collaborative album with TRUTH due out late-Summer.

N-Type reigns from the Croydon suburbs, a long time record collector and mixing enthusiast, he has always had a hunger for upfront tracks, eclectic vibes and technical mixing on several formats and turntables. His love for music came from an early age, with influences from his family love of instruments. He has won several awards for his DJ skills, Radio Shows and Mix albums. He is the head honcho at Wheel & Deal Records and has a consistent catalogue of releases in various genres. N-Type Rinse Fm second Thursday of every month 1-3am showcasing his favourite dubs, beats, Historic artists and guest mixes.
