Growing up on Canada’s Atlantic Coast, this Brooklyn resident has quickly earned a reputation as one of house and disco’s most respected artists. His memorable hooks and smooth melodies weave a signature sound that delivers equally well on the dance floor, or as the soundtrack to your daily life. The former drummer’s productions draw their influences from far and wide, paying respects to the classics while making their mark in the contemporary club scene.
With remixes for Seven Lions, Christina Perri, Viceroy, Treasure Fingers, Goldroom, among others, Bit Funk has garnered support from heavyweights such as Alan Braxe, The Magician, RAC, Oliver, Jody Wisternoff and Flosstradamus. His remixes and originals have been covered by the likes of Billboard, CLASH and VICE, topped Hype Machine’s charts countless times and been featured on some of the biggest Spotify playlists including multiple appearances on the prestigious “New Music Friday”.
In 2016, Bit Funk released the pop crossover single Off The Ground, which garnered over 4 million streams on Spotify. The track hit mainstream radio in North America, peaked at #13 on the Top 40 charts in Canada and would go on to win the 2017 Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year. Bit Funk is gearing up to release his first EP in 2 years, tentatively scheduled to drop in the spring of 2018.
