Like so many of you, we at Sixth & I are outraged and horrified by the hatred displayed in Charlottesville, including dozens injured, and the murder of Heather Heyer. To equate Nazis and those who stand with them with people who stand for dignity, civility, and social justice is unconscionable. In the words of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, “This is no time for neutrality.” We will fight hatred, racism, anti-Semitism, and bigotry; we will stand up for our country.
