Okay, you may have noticed that this show is on April 20th or 4/20. The term “420”, since 1971 has evolved into a code word that is used to mean marijuana-smoking. Heady Entertainment thought it would be fun to put a little spin on this show to pay homage to one of the most universal code words of all time.
So, we are going to have each band play classic songs about the wacky tobaccy. Think Mary Jane by Rick James or Who’s Got The Herb by 311. How about Smoke Two Joints by Sublime or Sweat Leaf by Black Sabbath, maybe Smell That Smell from Lynyrd Skynyrd?
We will be posting a poll in the event page in the upcoming days asking all of you to help us decide the best songs of all time that are about #Weed #Ganja #Herb #Pot
Please invite all of your friends to the event so they can participate in helping us with this quest to find the best Weed song. After we figure out what the top 5 weed songs are we will then have another poll where you get to choose which band plays which song.
