The IIDA Mid-Atlantic Chapter’s Washington Metro City Center Cosmo Couture DC fundraising event will be held on September 28, 2017 at the Howard Theatre in Washington, DC. Cosmo Couture DC fosters a direct collaboration between local Architecture and Interior Design firms and their manufacturing partners in the Washington DC area, to create garments reflecting a given theme. The garments were judged during a runway show and awards were given to design teams in different categories. The event is a fundraiser for the IIDA Mid-Atlantic Chapter and a portion of the proceeds were donated to a beneficiary. The 2017 Cosmo Couture DC beneficiary is Rebuilding Together of Washington, DC. The IIDA Mid-Atlantic Chapter has donated over one hundred thousand dollars from Cosmo Couture DC proceeds over the past seven years. Our success has been the direct result of the generosity of all those who have given their continued support to our events.
