Kendra Foster has been studying, performing and melding music with unstoppable passion. Her style defies classification but contains elements of R&B, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Gospel, Hip-Hop,Classical, Electronica, and World. Some of her influences are Sarah Vaughan, Belita Woods, Sade, Chaka Khan, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Parliament/Funkadelic, D’Angelo, Bjork, Donny Hathaway, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Meshell N’degeocello. She is finishing her next solo album with extraordinary producer Kelvin Wooten. Always effortlessly eclectic, Kendra looks forward to being associated with many sounds. Also a major dream fulfilled, she is writing w/ D’angelo on his forthcoming album and touring as background vocalist with his Vanguard.
