The Grammy award-winning soul singer/songwriter Foster has revealed her dynamic self-titled album today via Complex. Kendra collaborated with producer Kelvin Wooten (Mary J. Blige, Macy Gray, TLC) on most of the album, including single “Promise to Stay Here,” and fellow Vanguard member Jermaine Holmes produced “Just A Memory.” The album follows her most recent work with D’Angelo on the acclaimed Black Messiah, for which she won two Grammys for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Song (“Really Love”). Kendra considers Wooten a vital organ to her sonic body. They have chosen 10 songs out of a heaping plethora they created, and are grooming them to be THE ALBUM.
