Lostboycrow is an idea that pays homage to new beginnings and a poignant heritage, best described as a Pop minded vocalist’s dark love affair with the world of modern R&B. Still shrouded in mystery, the idea of Lostboycrow is the foundation for what we know about him as a musician.
Sonically, the Los Angeles artist delves in to the world of introspective dance music. He takes pride in his thoughtful and provocative lyrics, but doesn’t forget to cater to the current Pop-centric audience. Lostboycrow gives a voice to the voiceless through his storytelling ability while sonically finding the perfect medium between Pop, R&B, and Electronic music.
Lostboy has already strutted his stuff live in concert playing the prestigious SchoolNight LA, headlining Neon Gold’s Popshop West at The Echo, a Nation-wide tour with indie songstress, VERITÉ, and his own Co-Headline alongside his friends and collaborators, Flor.
LBC has put out a steady stream of music over the past year with singles “Stay A Little Longer”, “Verona” and “Where It All Goes” garnering millions of streams on Spotify and beyond. His debut EP Sigh For Me (2015) features songs such as “Powers” and “Love Won’t Sleep” which have accumulated 12 million and 7 million streams respectively.
In addition to a charismatic live performance and impressive listener numbers, Lostboycrow is a darling of the blog world with Pigeon’s & Planes highlighting his “velvety vocals” and “emotive messages.” Lostboycrow’s music is consistently featured in Spotify’s New Music Friday, Indie Pop, Good Vibes, and Alternative R&B playlists, as well as breaking in to both the United States and Global Viral Charts on the platform. Combine that with two HypeMachine #1’s and it becomes clear that a diverse online community has taken to his music.
This Summer, Lostboycrow is releasing an album over of the course of the next several months in short EP-length sets called “Legends”. Each of the three Legends makes up a larger map that guides the traveler (Lostboycrow) on his journey. The first legend was released in May and the second is already being rolled out.
