Rockn’ To Lockn’ Live Playoff

It’s that time year again and the LOCKN’ Festival is right around the corner! Come out to support (AND VOTE!) for which VA band is moving forward to play LOCKN’ this August.

The final round features:
Galaxy Dynamite! is Virginia’s premier award-winning psychedelic electronic rock act. Dubbed ‘The Kings of Space’ by NPR in 2016 and winner of ‘Best Psychedelic / Jam Band in Virginia’ award by VEER Magazine in 2015, 2016 and 2017, GalaxyD has performed more than 400 times delivering their signature blend of furious, frenetic, and absolutely unrelentingly heavy electronic space rock to festivals and clubs around the country.

Devil’s Workshop Big Band has unearthed another buried layer of pop music: big band. A 15-piece ensemble, Devil’s Workshop includes all the ingredients that comprised a big band in the 1930s and 40s: trumpets, trombones, saxophones, and a solid rhythm-section. Yet, Devil’s Workshop doesn’t swing; instead, as Trey Anastasio would say, they surrender to the air. -Mike Greenhaus, Jambands.com

FeelFree Born and bred in the cultural melting pot that is Washington D.C.’s metro area where people and music from all over the world interact daily, FeelFree’s music is a genre-bending sound. Blending reggae, rock, funk, and jazz influences, their live show “floats like a hummingbird and stings like a bee” with soaring, blues-tinged guitar over smooth vocal melodies amidst heavy grooves and huge horn-lines.

Virginia Man is a 5-piece band of brothers from Fredericksburg, Virginia. They began as a simple three-piece folk group through spontaneous downtown busking on one cool summer night. On that night, Kristian, Andrew and Josh, were quickly approached by a variety of local scouts for their effortless talent and natural chemistry as players. They played their first show the following week. Soon after, they were joined by Jack Rutherford (drums), Jason Bubba Ross (bass) and Jacob Keller (keys). And the rest is history.

ALL AGES. 21 & UP TO DRINK.
