Soft Glas is the solo project of Brooklyn based multi-instrumentalist Joao Gonzalez. An artist/producer/arranger of alternative indie, he is often inspired by people such as his father, Gonzalo Rubalcaba (Grammy Award-winning Jazz pianist/composer), Claude Debussy, Radiohead. His collaborators include Lido, Jesse Boykins III, Chargaux, Sunni Colon, Mulherin, Cautious Clay, Alex Szotak, & more.

His new album titled ‘Orange Earth’ is a very personal journey through nostalgia and melancholy. It explores all the colors, emotions and sounds of adolescence and maturity while really serving as an escape from the real world.

Donovan Edmund Duvall aka Mr. Daywalker, born June 5, 1994, is a DC area based producer, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and art director. His music is a blend of jazz, hip-hop, soul, indie, with added electronic elements. Inspired by J Dilla, John Coltrane, Fleet Foxes, Bill Withers, Flamenco and his Cuban roots. Mr. Daywalker carries the tradition of his relatives who toured around the world playing Cuban jazz in the forties and fifties, sharing the stage with icons such as Dizzie Gillespie and Miguelito Valdés . Mr. Daywalker joined his school’s orchestra at the age of nine playing percussion. During high school, at Sidwell Friends in DC, he played in the jazz ensemble, while at home he began creating and producing house music.

In college as a jazz percussion and performance major, he played with a jazz/hiphop fusion group, The Blue Roots Experiment, which sparked his interest in hiphop. This started his transition from house music to making beats. Making beats was the first step for Mr. Daywalker, and soon he was inspired to transition from beats to recording live instrumentation. He found that recording live instruments captured a more genuine sound, missing from just making beats. This discovery spurred Mr. Daywalker to teach himself piano, bass, guitar, and mandolin. Mr. Daywalker’s mission is to generate empathy and to create spaces that are beyond fear through music. He seeks to capture the human experience through his perception of reality.

Mr. Daywalker has performed on stages in NC, DC, NY, VA, WV, and OH including The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, Serendipity Music Festival, and The Black Cat, and he has shared bills with Baauer, Beau Young Prince, DJ Inferno, Jordan Clark, and Space Captain. Mr. Daywalker is fresh off releasing his debut EP “Warmth” and busy working on his next project.

Meet Cramer. Aside from her work with youth in and around her community of PG County, MD; Akeira Cramer (better known as Cramer) is widely known for her vocal ability, skilled performance technique and bright personality. As a self-taught singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, Cramer’s pioneering attitude led her to headline Austin, Texas’s “South By Southwest Music Festival”, Billboard’s Inaugural “Hot 100 Fest” in New York City, and many other festivals on a nationwide tour sponsored by the Recording Academy and the Grammy Amplifier program, while only 22-years-old. She is currently writing for and preparing her debut musical project, to be released in the Summer of 2017. Cramer would like to credit her family, faith and friends for all of her success, now and forevermore.
