The Mid-Atlantic Region’s Premier 70’s Tribute Band.
Rather than celebrating a specific act or persona, they pay tribute to the era of 70’s funk/disco. To bring it over the top, they throw on outrageous costumes and wigs and give each other crazy stage names that paint a colorful picture of their off-stage characters. People have described SFD as “the modern day love child of Sly & The Family Stone, Rick James and The Bee Gees”. Superflydisco has been around since 2005 and over the years, the roster of players has been a virtual “who’s who” of the DC area pro musician circuit.
