Bottled Up (DC)
Bottled Up is a new rock and roll quintet from DC. Growing their roots from surf, new-wave, 70’s rock, and punk ethos; their main goal is to kick out as many bangers as possible for you, your parents, and your dog too.
Their self-titled EP came out in May, 2017 and was released on tape by Maximum PELT Records. Founded in Oakland, CA, now performing in DC w/ Alex Dahms (drums), Colin Kelly (bass/vox) former Young Rapids, James Dietz (synth/vox) also in Forces, Mike Mastrangelo (guitar/vox) former MAG, and Nikhil Rao (guitar/vox) former Seasick!, Shari La La’s, and Kid Quazar.

One sweaty afternoon, a long time from now, the members of this band are going to be captured by hideous aliens. These aliens are collectors, zookeepers, and we will be put on display as attractions in their evil theme park for their compassionless species. The aliens do not have digestive systems, being aliens, and therefore do not shit. They will not create plumbing for us. We will live in piles of our own feces. However, what the aliens will never learn is that the shit will be our salvation. never underestimate the pyro-active properties of feces. By rubbing their bodies continuously, the three members of Hello Nurse will create a spark, which will light a fire, which will ignite the feces piled to the ceiling, burning their prison to the ground and allowing their escape. They’re also a three-piece punk band from Brooklyn.
